A24’s quirky ‘Problemista’ trailer teases Tilda Swinton as a monstrous art curator
Saturday Night Live writer and Los Espookys co-creator Julio Torres has gone all out for his first feature Problemista, writing, directing and starring in the quirky comedy about a Salvadoran toy designer, Alejandro, struggling to gain sponsorship after his work visa runs out.
The A24 trailer above teases plenty of quirky visuals and strange characters, including Tilda Swinton as a red-haired art curator who promises to sponsor Alejandro providing he helps her put together an exhibition.
The movie has some serious Michel Gondry vibes, and also stars RZA, Catalina Saavedra, and Larry Owens.
Problemista is in theatres August 4.
