Adam Sandler voices a school lizard in ‘Leo’ trailer

A child rubs the glass of a lizard's enclosure.

Adam Sandler puts his funny voice to new use as a lizard in Netflix’s upcoming animated film Leo.

The movie’s eponymous lizard is a jaded 74-year old who’s lived in an elementary school his whole life. When he learns he only has one year left to live, he plans to escape his home and experience life on the outside. Soon, though, he finds himself caught up in all the worries of his anxious students, leading to a strange, yet highly rewarding bucket list. Oh, and did we mention it’s a musical?

Leo premieres on Netflix Nov. 21.
