SAVE $ 250: The Apple Studio Display with standard glass and a tilt-adjustable stand typically retails for $ 1,599, but Amazon has it on sale for an all-time-low price of $ 1,349 as of May 31. That’s $ 250 off, or a savings of 16%.

Apple‘s annual Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday, June 5 will reportedly feature the reveals of several new products (including a 15-inch MacBook Air and that long-rumored mixed-reality headset). For savvy shoppers, this can only mean one thing: lots of older Apple products are about to get cheaper across major retailers who want to make room in their inventories.

Amazon’s kicking things off with an excellent deal on last year’s Apple Studio Display, a premium monitor with a 27-inch 5K Retina screen that offers 600 nits of brightness, P3 wide color, and support for 1 billion colors. The base configuration is on sale there for only $ 1,349, which is 16% off its $ 1,599 MSRP and its best price to date.

The only other place we found this Studio Display on sale was B&H Photo, which had it listed for $ 1,499 (or just $ 100 off) at the time of writing. It was stuck at full price at Best Buy, Adorama, and in the famously sales-averse Apple Store itself.

An early 2022 release, the Studio Display is billed as a pretty companion for MacBooks and Mac desktops — this is mainly a product for Apple loyalists, according to our friends at PCMag. (They’re owned by Mashable’s publisher, ZiffDavis, FYI.) Its slim, all-aluminum enclosure comes equipped with an A13 Bionic chip, also found in the iPhone 11 series and ninth-generation iPad, which powers its 12MP ultrawide camera with Center Stage and six-speaker system with Dolby Atmos and spatial audio support. Connectivity-wise, it has three USB-C ports and one Thunderbolt port that can deliver up to 96W of power to a MacBook Air or Pro; you get one Thunderbolt cable in the box.

This particular configuration has standard glass with an anti-reflective coating, plus a stand that can tilt back up to 30 degrees for your viewing pleasure.
