The best Dyson deals ahead of Prime Day 2023 aren’t at Amazon

Prime Day season is a great time to find Dyson discounts — but the best deals probably won’t be from Amazon. Instead, competing retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and Dyson’s own website are the spots to check out if a new vacuum or air purifier is on your list during (and before) the summer shopping event.
As this is the first Prime Day since Dyson’s biggest new product drop in recent years, we wouldn’t be surprised to see more intense discounts on older models than we’ve seen from Prime Days past.

Why we like it
The Dyson V12 Detect Slim is one of our favorite vacuums because it offers the best features of the supersized V15 Detect at a much more accessible price point — usually. However, a pre-Prime Day sale at Dyson knocks the V15’s price to $ 599.99, actually making it cheaper than the less powerful V12 Detect Slim, which isn’t currently on sale. “Absolute” signifies that this V15 iteration also includes two extra attachments — a low-reach adapter and a fabric and mattress tool — that don’t come with every Dyson.
The V15 Detect Absolute features Dyson’s iconic green laser that highlights dust that you wouldn’t see otherwise. Compared to the V12, it has a larger dustbin and double the battery, with an hour of run time at a full charge.
