TikTok holds tremendous sway over the music industry, so it makes sense that the platform’s latest feature allows you to save songs directly to apps like Spotify or Amazon Music.

The new feature, called “Add to Music App,” was announced by TikTok on Tuesday. The feature will appear as a button next to the name of the song at the bottom of the screen. All you need to do is click “Add Music.” The first time a user clicks the button it’ll give them the option to choose their preferred music platform, such as Spotify or Amazon Music.

“TikTok is already the world’s most powerful platform for music discovery and promotion, which helps artists connect with our global community to drive engagement with their music,” said Ole Obermann, TikTok’s global head of music business development, in a statement. “Add to Music App takes this process a step further, creating a direct link between discovery on TikTok and consumption on a music streaming service, making it easier than ever for music fans to enjoy the full-length song on the music streaming service of their choice, thereby generating even greater value for artists and rightsholders.”

For Spotify users a saved song from TikTok will automatically go to your liked songs, TechCrunch noted. On Amazon Music, it’ll be sent to a TikTok-specific playlist or another playlist the user chooses.

The feature could prove helpful for users, considering TikTok has proven wildly influential in the music business. If a song trends on the app it’s almost certain to appear on the Billboard charts. TikTok has launched major music careers and helped indie artists carve out a living. It makes sense that the platform would lean even more heavily into its role as a music discovery tool.

Now, every time you hear something catchy on TikTok, you can take it directly to your preferred music app.
